What to Expect
- Redness for 1-3 days is normal, however, for more aggressive treatments this may last longer. To help camouflage the redness, our Jane Iredale make-up or SkinBetter Tone Smart pallet can be used.
- Mild to moderate swelling can occur and last up to 3-5 days. Swelling can be minimized by sleeping elevated at night and taking a daily anti-histamine (ex. Benadryl, Zyrtec, Allegra)
- Skin will have a sand-paper rough texture for 7-14 days.
- Some Pts can experience tiny white heads or petechiae
- You will see results as the skin begins to heal, but the best results are usually obtained after 3-4 treatments. Your provider will recommend the number of treatments to achieve your beauty goals, however on average most people need three sessions for maximum effect.
